The “Monastic” room
The Monastic room is so so-called because of its extremely sober style. Lit by two windows on the east side, it overlooks the cottage garden, containing a magnolia tree and some wonderful hydrangeas. It houses a collection of animal drawings dating from the beginning of the century. The bedroom is separated from the bathroom by a low separating wall, and the room has its own entrance including a spacious wardrobe. Access by the inner courtyard gallery. For those who adore romantic summer breakfasts, a special table is reserved in the garden under the persimmon tree.
